Do You Need a Bonnet?

The answer is probably yes. Bonnets are a great way to protect and care for your hair. The difference between Kat's Bonnets, and the one you can find at your local store for about a dollar is the experience. You deserve a bonnet that doesn't abandon you in the middle of the night. With elastic that doesn't wear out after a couple of uses. One that is thick (but not hot), and isn't ripped apart in the washing machine. With the satin actually on the right side. You deserve a bonnet with a strong work ethic!

What Can You Use Kat's Bonnets For?

  • Protective - Cotton pillowcases actually pull moisture away from your hair while sleeping. If you struggle with maintaining moisture as it is, this is only probably making it worse. Kat's Bonnets are double layered, with breathable cotton on the outside, and satin lining on the inside meaning your hair will better retain moisture, leading to more frizz-free mornings.

  • Avoiding Breakage - Let's keep dragging cotton pillowcases for a moment. The woven fibers of cotton can trap strands of your hair between them, and as you move in your sleep, this can result in breakage. The smoother, more tightly woven fibers of satin allow your hair to glide against it and reduce breakage.

  • Hair Mask Hero - Hair masks can add much-needed nutrients to your hair, but the process can be messy. Apply your hair mask, toss your hair up in a Kat's Bonnet, and save yourself some extra shirt laundry. Bonus benefit: since Kat's Bonnets are double-lined, moisture will be trapped inside the mask, which can lead to deeper penetration of your mask, and enhanced results. When you're done, just toss it in the washer and dryer.

  • Heatless Curls - After putting your hair up in your curlers of choice, secure it with a Kat's Bonnet. Sleep peacefully knowing your bonnet will still be in place in the morning. While breathable, your bonnet will trap in some of your natural body heat, helping set your curls. Look forward to takedowns that reveal beautiful, bouncy curls.
